Text to slides
Last updated 2026-09-20
Not every set of notes deserves a file. If the content is already text in front of you — meeting minutes, an outline, a block of research notes — you can paste it straight in and generate from there.
Turn your own document into a deck
Up to 5 slides are free and need no account. Most decks take 30–60 seconds, with no download and no subscription.
How to paste text and get slides
Open the tool, choose the Paste text tab, and paste. A character count updates as you type; the tool does not repeat the document back to you. Pick a visual style, then click the free or paid plan card to continue. The deck comes back as a link. Up to 5 slides are free and need no account.
Paste works with plain text and with Markdown. If you write ## headings, they help the model see your structure — but nothing breaks if you do not.
What pasted text is good for
- Notes and outlines you want to turn into something you can present
- Meeting minutes or a chat thread you need to walk someone through
- A section of a longer document that does not need to be split out into a file first
- Markdown you already write elsewhere
What it is not
It is not a way around the limits, and it is not a fix for everything: if your content depends on images, charts or precise layout, pasting the text will not bring those along either. The deck is built from words.
Limits worth knowing
- 50,000 characters of text per deck — longer material is better split into two decks
- The free tier gives you 3 decks per 24 hours
- No
