Link to slides

Sometimes the content you need to present is already published. Instead of saving the page, copying the text and uploading a file, you can hand pastedeck the address and let it read the page.
Turn your own document into a deck
Up to 5 slides are free and need no account. Most decks take 30–60 seconds, with no download and no subscription.
How to turn a link into slides
Open the tool on this site and choose the From a link tab. Paste the address and press Fetch page: our server requests the page, keeps the main article text, and shows you the character count without repeating the document. If it finds too little body text, it tells you that the page may not be readable and suggests pasting the text instead. Pick a style, then choose a plan card; the deck comes back as a link.
Which links work
- Ordinary HTML pages — articles, documentation, blog posts, help centres. These work.
- Pages that build themselves with JavaScript — single-page apps, and sites that load the article after the page appears. Our server reads the HTML it receives, and in these cases that HTML contains no text, so the page comes back empty.
- Anything behind a login — not accessible to us, so it cannot be read. Copy the text and use the paste tab instead.
If a page returns no text, try a different link, or open the page, copy the article, and use the paste tab.
What does not come across
The deck is built from the page's text: prose, headings and list items. Photographs, diagrams, embedded video, navigation, and the layout you see in a browser are not carried over.
Limits worth knowing
